Xiaomi’s highly anticipated new model Poco F7 Pro is coming to the global market shortly. According to the latest leaked information, the model, which is expected to satisfy users looking for high performance, comes with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Well, will it be able to meet expectations? Details in our news…
Xiaomi Poco F7 Pro will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3
The Poco F7 Pro will be launched as the international version of Xiaomi’s other popular model, the Redmi K80. This means that powerful hardware and premium features will be waiting for us in this phone. Xiaomi usually launches two Poco F series models every year, but this time the surprises could be bigger than expected.
According to rumors, three different Poco F7 models will be available together with the Poco F7 Pro. In other words, we are facing a series diversified according to different user needs. Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor will be one of the biggest trump cards of this phone.
The high-performance processor is said to please users, especially in games and graphics-demanding applications. However, it is also among the leaked information that the device is no longer being developed under the root model number ‘24122RKC7’.
Instead, recent IMEI database results revealed that Xiaomi has switched to ‘24117RK2C’, with the ‘C’ and ‘G’ variants referring to Chinese and global models respectively. It will allegedly share the same specs as the Poco F7 Pro’s Chinese sibling, the Redmi K80 Pro, and will be unveiled in China by December.
Xiaomi usually uses different nomenclature in the Poco and Redmi series to offer the same hardware. Therefore, the Poco F7 Pro can also be seen as the global version of the Redmi K80.
